Here’s a currently flowering orchid that has a really nice classic orchid scent on tiny flowers and an odd growth pattern or shape. It has numerous small flowers growing from the base of the pseudobulb – shortly afterwards a a new growth tip emerges from behind the flower spike.
I would guess it’s in the Maxillaria family – but i’m still looking and researching possibilities. I picked it up a few years ago at a orchid club show as a small neglected growth with no tag and with no one having any idea what it was.
Since then I’ve identified it as Maxillaria Densa
